MA: My dear!! Praise the Lord! God has done it
PA: Oluwa seun o. What has God done? Share the good news.

MA: Hmm. This morning when I was leaving home, I told you that I felt that something different was going to happen today. Do you remember?
PA: Yes, I remember.

MA: Ehen. That’s good. So when I got to work, I kept praying and wondering what God was working on.
PA: Okayyy…

MA: It was around that time that I was feeling hungry and then, I…
PA: My dear, please go straight to the point. You hear? Please.

MA: You ehn. Okay o. This is the testimony o. Mr. and Mrs. Adebisi have given birth to twins!! A boy and a girl. After nine years of waiting. God is so good!

PA: Wow. That’s wonderful. Praise God.
MA: Ahahn. Honey. It doesn’t even look like you are excited.

PA: My dear, you have no clue. Please go to the library and bring my notepad for me.

*Five minutes later*

MA: I’ve found it.
PA: Great. Check the first few pages. You’ll see an entry there written with red biro.

MA: Yeeeeee!!! I have found it! Ah. This is serious.
PA: Take it easy na. Please read.

MA: “20th April 2013. At the appointed time, I will visit Mr. and Mrs. Adebisi. For their pain, I will give double honour. It will be a boy and a girl.” Wow. This is unbelievable. This was written 6 years ago! How come?

PA: There was a time we were praying for the family as a church. It was around that period that I heard God say those words and I quickly wrote them down. So each time I am worried, I just go back to God’s word and remind myself that God is a promise keeper.

MA: Wow. This is unbelievable.
PA: That’s the God that we serve o. Onise Iyanu.

MA: Wow.
PA: My dear, you have not finished reading from the notepad o.

MA: Okay. Let me continue. “The name of the boy will be Semilore and the girl will be called Seyifunmi” Ha! My dear. Even the names?
PA: Shhhh! Don’t say a word to anyone about this. By next week Monday, we will see the confirmation of this one too. I am sure.

Ire: You will see the fulfilment of God’s promises. The words He has spoken to you will become the reality you will experience. You’ll see. God will see to it.

See the former things have taken place, and new things I declare; before they spring into being I announce them to you. Isaiah 42:9

God is not human, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken and will He not make it good and fulfil it? Numbers 23:19

…so is my word that goes out from my mouth; it will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. Isaiah 55:11

He was absolutely sure that God would be able to do what he had promised.
