This is a question that has been walking around in my mind for weeks. What is your WHY? I’ve had to ask myself from time to time.
This question could help unravel a lot. It could be used to explain the true motive behind your actions. It could relate to a decision you are about to make or one you’ve made. If properly asked and answered, this question can change your life.
For example:
Why are you choosing Biochemistry instead of Medicine?
Why do you want to leave Nigeria?
Why did you say Yes to Ade and not to Bayo?
Why do you write?
Why are you applying for a Master’s degree?
Why are you abstaining from sexual immorality?
Why…Why…Why?
I can’t ask all the right questions because only you know the questions that you need to ask. Ask those difficult questions. It would help you greatly.
However, there is one WHY that I am sure applies to everyone reading. WHY ARE YOU LIVING? Why are you waking up early each morning? Why are you working all day? Why are you staying up late? WHY ARE YOU LIVING?
Why?
For me, my Why is this: “I want to make God proud” I’m not perfect, but my earnest desire is that my life makes God proud. That’s my WHY. What is yours?
